Brief Description of Hiring Business Unit:
IVS offers wide range of testing services catering to end-to-end testing requirements of clients in the areas of functional and non-functional testing:
Our offerings include:
- Custom Validation – Addresses the basic testing needs of organizations such as Functional testing, System Integration testing, Inter-operability testing , User acceptance testing (UAT) and others
- Specialized validation – Addresses finer aspects of validation such as Performance bench marking, test tool evaluation and Automation and Regression testing
- Process consultancy – Addresses strategic needs of organizations such as Enterprise test management, Test process consultancy and test program management
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare business cases for customers to show value of our solutions, consulting and service offerings
- Work with the alliance partners to take our solutions and the partner’s complimentary products to the market
- Suggest & implement solutions, testing tools, and services that have solved the clients’ problem areas
- Influence clients during proposals and pre-sales.
- Provide recommendations from the market to the solutions development team for need for specific solutions
- Support the selling the solutions and consulting via pursuit management and presales
- Define the pricing strategy with the solution team for solutions based on the customer needs identified during consulting
- Develop and manage relationships with senior client executives (direct reports of CXOs)
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficient in multiple solutions, consulting offerings and specialized testing services
- Thorough knowledge of one or more domains
- Thorough knowledge of business processes in any two industry verticals.
- Demonstration of thought leadership by publishing POVs and publications
Must be proficient in atleast one of the three following areas:
1. Package testing - SAP/Oracle/Seibel:
- Experience in Package testing (SAP/Oracle/Seibel)
- Experience in working with test accelerators for SAP/Oracle/Seibel testing
- Experience in working with testing tools for SAP/Oracle/Seibel testing like SAP TAO,
Solutions manager, Infoshuttle, Quality Center, BPT, etc.
2. SOA testing:
- Experience in Middleware/SOA Test automation testing
- Experience in using SOA testing tools like Solstice, iTKO, HP Service test
3. Test data/Datawarehouse:
- Experience in Test Data/Test environments
- Experience in Datawarehouse testing
- Experience in tools like Informatica, Infoshuttle, Abinitio, SAP TDMS, etc.
Behavioral Skills required:
- 12-18 years experience in reputed software companies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational & writing skills.
- Ability to interact & communicate with the client / customer
- Ability to solve complex issues in given time
Desirable Technical/ Behavioral Skills:
- Good knowledge about industry trends and key testing challenges
- Overall knowledge about tools and related best practices - specifically on HP/mercury Quality Center, Quick Testpro and Performance Center
Expected Experience Range: Minimum 12 years- Maximum- 18 years
Education: BE, BS, BTech, MS, MBA
