Must Have Skills :

Technical

1. Candidate must have 6-8 years of relevant experience  in architecting Global BI solutions in Business Objects
2. Should have experience in delivering multi-server solutions including clustering and failover techniques
3. Must have hands-on experience in designing DW data models and building Bobj Universe on RDBMS/BEx queries
4. BusinessObjects Administration using CMC
5. Design and implementation of BusinessObjects Security Model
6. XCelsius design experience with database Integration using LiveOffice, QAAWS and other connectivity options
7. Estimate work effort and deliver to schedule
8. Manage and participate in all phases of implementation life cycle
9. Define performance criteria and drive test schedules
10. Understand business needs and be able to translate them into a technical solution
11. Capacity Planning and Server Sizing for BusinessObjects Environment
12. Should have knowledge on “Data Federator”
13. Awareness about BusinessObjects 4.0

Functional

1. Analyze customers’ business requirements and objectives
2. Detailed design of customer-specific development, that maps to requirement documents
3. Preparing and running workshops with  subject matter experts and Project Management, including preparation of formal presentations, for instance to define business processes KPI’s or agree functional design for implementations
4. Develop necessary Requirement Specifications to meet customer requirements and objectives
5. Develop methodologies, templates and services to offer value added solutions to customers.
6. Design & Architecture based on Application requirements and system landscape.
7. Analyze and define requirements for customer-specific development needs or integration requirements.
8. Define customer roles for conducting one-to-one interviews for requirement gathering purposes
9. Review Dimensional model and oversee development activities
10. Develop Test Plan along with the help of Customer SME members
11. Prepare Integration Test Plans, oversee integration testing
12. Design & Architecture documentation

Desired Skills : Working in Onsite-Offshore Model, BusinessObjects SDK Experience and exposure to Crystal Reports

Mandatory skills : Experience with BusinessObjects XI, Universe Design, Web Intelligence, Data Federator & XCelsius

Soft skills : Good client facing and communication skills, mentoring experience
