Job Responsibilities:
8+ years of experience
- Maintains deep expertise in solutions architecture using Microsoft .NET while a broad knowledge and point of view of applicability of Microsoft products and technologies in context of Enterprise Architecture, SOA and Enterprise IT strategy.
- Expertise and experience in delivering at least one N-tier, large, complex and scalable solutions involving .NET 3.0/3.5 (LINQ/WCF/WF/WPF), ASP.NET, AJAX, Silverlight etc.
- Understands the relevant implications of designed solution on the application development, infrastructure and operations
- Architect solutions that meet non functional requirements like performance, security, scalability, availability. Ability to make design trade off decisions.
- Strong structured analysis and problem solving skills. Applies formal analysis techniques such as SWOT, Options Analysis, Gap Analysis, trade-off analysis, scoring models, what-if analysis and cost-benefit analysis where applicable in solutions architecture development process.
- Strong fundamentals on development methodologies and processes with a specific focus on using tools to ensure deliverable quality. Knowledge of Modern Software Development Processes (RUP, XP, Agile methods)
- Knowledge and experience in SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, BizTalk, MOSS, Commerce server is a plus
- Strong communication skills. Must be proficient in developing and delivering executive presentations
- Must be able to interact with client's executive management
- Team player, collaborative personality
- Keeps abreast with latest technology trends and their applicability/impact on solutions architecture
- Contribute to build knowledge base and gather best practices on technology, products, business processes
- 100% traveling
