Position: Engagement Manager (EM) – Healthcare
Locations: West Coast (Any where)
Company: $25B SI ( NASDAQ Listed SI with 70,000 employees)
Compensation: $100K to $150K and BONUS: 60% of BASE
Position Type: Full-Time Employment
ROLE
The Engagement Manager is responsible for all client interface within the assigned client(s) scope of services. The EM works together with his manager to build a Client Service plan and is responsible for client management based on this plan. Usually, the EM handles a single client or a portfolio within a very large client, with an indicative annual book of business of $7-10M.
Responsibilities
- Client relationship management –managing relationships with operational client personnel – those directly involved with company presence
- Business Development – driving revenues, margins, scope of services footprint
- Client delivery assurance – assuring the client of $25B SI’s commitment and driving the delivery process by working collaboratively with the Delivery Managers in the IBU
- Taking Go-to-market solutions and Alliances service offerings to the assigned client(s)
- Client Service Planning and Governance
- Commercial and pricing decisions within the scope of the Master Services Agreement
- Extensive experience in the Healthcare domain
- Pre-sales proposal support for new business development
- Monitor and coach the performance of the on-site Project Managers
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors or Masters in Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent
- Candidate will have prior experience in working with Healthcare clients
- 10+ years experience in project and client management expertise from an established consulting firm.
- Candidate will have the capability to provide advisory/thought leadership to customers in their areas of business and Technology.
- Prior experience working with a Global Delivery Model (GDM) and a knowledge of CMM methodology.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional problem solving capabilities.
- Proven experience leading and delivering large, complex IT projects.
- Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and work streams.
- Ability to interact with and to develop relationships with a diverse group of client personnel ranging from senior executives to middle managers to technical individual contributors.
- Experience managing, recruiting, and retaining outstanding technical talent.
