Responsibilities :

A Director has both delivery and practice development responsibilities.  The leadership expects approximately 50% of the Director’s time will be spent building the practice through team development and sales.  The remainder of the Director’s time will be spent overseeing the delivery of multiple projects across multiple clients (“billable work”).  

  • Utilize executive-level contacts within the studios and entertainment industry to expand Company’s client and project portfolio
  • Develop and manage client relationships
  • Develop project estimates, work plans, and proposals and drive project initiation activities
  • Identify opportunities and significantly contribute to the selling of services within and outside of existing clients
  • Refine and execute Company’s business strategy within the studios and other filmed-entertainment companies
  • Provide project leadership and direction for multiple projects over multiple clients while maintaining a high quality level of service and relationships
  • Facilitate project execution by providing support in executive-level issue resolution and management of scope and budgets
  • Ensure quality of all project deliverables
  • Mentor, develop, and motivate Company resources
  • Provide thought leadership around firm strategy and direction

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Significant experience (9+ years) in systems implementation and technology consulting within a major consulting firm
  • Deep understanding of the studio environment and filmed-entertainment industry
  • Experience leading multiple project teams simultaneously
  • Ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities
  • Detailed understanding of business analysis frameworks and their application
  • Proven experience building collaborative relationships with external partners
  • Superior problem definition capability, analytical skills and effective problem solving
  • Strong initiative and self-motivated
  • Strong professional presence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Dynamic entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative approach
