Job Description:

Our client, $20B IT Consulting Firm growing at 60%/year is looking to bring on a Practice Leader to manage and grow their Datawarehousing/Business Intelligence practice. As the Practice head of the Datawarehousing/Business Intelligence (BI), you will provide leadership and will be the go-to person for business development and delivery functions.

We expect you to:

• Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership for business process improvement, solution design, and help lower the total cost of ownership
• Establish client relationship, understand their pain points, challenges, and goals Participate in team selection for functional and technical roles on such engagements
• Create detailed project plans for knowledge transfer, rollouts, and development projects Proactively identify challenges, issues, and risks in project delivery and develop a mitigation plan working closely with the client team
• Understand and apply tools and methodologies for Application development and maintenance projects
• Mentor team members and conduct training programs in your domain area
• Create a Knowledge Management framework for your respective domain and capture best practices from projects in execution Ultimately responsible for project QA, client satisfaction, and project team performance

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills, client-facing abilities and international exposure are pre-requisites for these positions.
• Proven track record with DataWarehousing/Business Intelligence. 2 years of experience managing an onsite/offshore consulting practice - good understanding of offshore delivery model
• Degree in engineering or computer applications MBA preferable
• Financial services experience a Must
• 10 years experience
• Candidate can be located in NY, metro Washington DC, Dallas, Chicago or Sunnyvale CA
