Brief Description of Hiring Business Unit:
We are looking to expand and continue to grow our SaaS practice. SaaS is redefining the way business is being conducted. SaaS is fast emerging as a vital tool for enterprise CIOs to cost efficiently reduce the complexity of their IT landscape with the benefits of commercially licensed software. Job Responsibilities:
Managing Programs envisages single-window execution (from the perspective of a client organization) of a series of projects or tracks or initiatives linked together thematically, over an extended period of time through the use of multiple service providers, vendors and other resources. A Program may involve projects involving delivery of solutions by the company which could encompass multiple service offerings. The Program Manager will be working on-site at a large customer, managing the entire engagement. This includes working with the onsite team, offshore team, managing deliverables and working with various teams within the organization.
Key responsibilities of a Program Manager include:
- Interface with client’s management (typically director/VP/SVP levels of the IT and business units) for executing the program.
- Assist clients on strategic technology and management aspects of the business.
- Understand the strategy and strategic objectives identified for the program and perform goal alignment.
- Strategizing, Planning, development and administration of Program for clients of the company
- Monitoring, tracking and execution of Programs as a program manager for a program of size up to from $5 MM USD to $25 MM USD
- Perform program management tasks such as:
a) Set up the programs in terms of scope, structure, governance mechanisms, communication plans and stakeholder management.
b) Prepare end to end contracts covering all depending constituents, service levels, etc between multiple dependent stakeholders. Monitor these contractual obligations regularly and re-negotiate where required.
c) Ensure program objectives and alignment of goals is performed between various stakeholders.
d) Structure and execute programs for the clients.
e) Monitor, analyze and review the performance of the Program as well as the projects within the program according to agreed schedules and terms and conditions
f) Monitor, track and manage multiple dependencies between various constituents of program as per business imperatives.
g) Set up and monitor Governance and Risk Management for the program
h) Assist in the prioritization, scheduling, and reporting of projects by presenting solution options that tie to measurable business drivers.
i) Optimize program performance by monitoring various costs and resources that are utilized.
Technical Skills Required:
- Senior level professional with experience in managing large programs
- Minimum 12+ years of Project / Program management.
- Sound knowledge of software products, system integration and services
- Use of various project management tools to manage and control programs
- Previous experience working for an Internet or Internet product company preferred
- Experience in a SAAS/ASP environment a plus.
- Experience working with social technologies and/or e-commerce a plus
- Must have experience leading large transformational programs
Expected Experience Range:
Minimum- 12 years
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred
