RESPONSIBILITIES :
The jobholder is responsible for driving new business revenues from a named account and territory list within the IBU. The jobholder would mainly be responsible for the following:
- Work closely with the Head of Sales and the GEMs to create a market penetration strategy
- Pro-active sales activities to convert suspects into prospects
- Primary owner of the Opportunity Management process - Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close - for new prospects or new clients within the first 18 months of opening
- Form peering relationships with client personnel at the VP/Director level, and working (non-peering) relationships with CXOs; Sourcing for additional business
- Following up with prospects so that it can lead to a proposal
- Working with the pre-sales functions to craft a suitable and compelling proposal for the client
- Showcase Infosys Capabilities, Value, Relationships and Governance in all interactions
- Manage proposal pricing negotiations and closure process, taking Go-To-Market Solutions to the target market.
- Post-proposal relationship maintenance with clients; Sourcing for additional business
SKILLS:
- Sales Executive/Professional with a minimum of 10+ years in professional services sales
- Proven sales track record of selling business solutions to leading Banking & Capital Markets; Healthcare, Life Sciences and Insurance; Automotive and Aerospace, Media and Entertainment, Retail; CPG; Manufacturing; Semi-Conductor; Oil & Gas; Chemicals; Utilities; Telecommunications firms, demonstrating clear understanding of customer's business issues and challenges addressed
- IT services/solution sales preferred
- Global Delivery Model/offshore experience – required to collaborate and deliver results working with team members located remotely
- Banking & Capital Markets; Healthcare, Life Sciences and Insurance; Automotive and Aerospace, Media and Entertainment, Retail; CPG; Manufacturing; Semi-Conductor; Oil & Gas; Chemicals; Utilities; Telecommunications consulting delivery leadership experience a plus
- Sales Management experience
- Consistent track record of overachievement against quota
- Ability to conduct industry and customer analysis: identifying "pain points"
- Person must be well networked and have dealt/interacted successfully with CXOs of leading organizations preferably Fortune 500
- Knowledge of value chain- ability to get market value for our services.
- Ability to define specific solutions within abstract environment
