Required Skills:
- 7 years of overall work experience with at least 3 to 4 years in loyalty programs, preferably in airlines or other travel & leisure industries.
- Project experience in functional consultant role in projects related to loyalty programs and/or CRM systems.
- Strong domain knowledge in flight and non-Flight accrual and redemption; awards, upgrades and upsell.
- Knowledge of airline industry business processes, especially in the areas of alliances, joint ventures, partner interfacing for frequent flyer programs (accrual, redemption and billing).
- Exposure to CRM concepts like Customer Analytics and Segmentation, Campaign Management and Marketing Automation, would be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of the 'Software Development Life Cycle' is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral, are essential. The ability to present complex business concepts to senior management in written and/or oral format is also a requirement.
- Self-motivated, strong bottom-line and functional leadership, essential.
- Flexibility to travel and relocate depending on the requirement.
Reporting to Senior Project Managers:
- Be the functional lead for medium to large size projects in airline loyalty domain. Help in domain knowledge ramp-up of IT teams.
- Liaise with business users / client managers / specialists to understand the problem statements.
- Produce detailed business change, systems requirements, and process flow documentation
- Conduct requirement workshops, understand AS-IS process and identify process changes
- Analyze the requirement by demonstrating strong process/solution/product knowledge. Understands constraints in implementation
- Lead the problem definition and solution estimation efforts for presales activity.
- Conceptualize domain specific solutions. Suggest and validate various solution options for the requirements.
- Proactively understand challenges and issues. Make recommendations to improve functional solutions and workflows.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in specific frequent flyer program and CRM space.
- Lead domain competency building and knowledge management activities.
- Leverage project/domain knowledge to assist solution development based on industry research.
Demonstrate thought leadership in airline loyalty through publication of thought papers / white papers, and blogging.
