Must Have Skills :

• Must have 10+ years of strong, hands-on experience with XML/XQuery, Content Management Systems (CMS) in Publishing and/or Media companies
• Must have a strong understanding of managing unstructured content.
• Extensive experience in design and modeling of Content Architecture with XML for unstructured content in large systems.
• Good exposure to Content Modeling with XML Schema and XSLT style sheet development.
• Strong experience in XML Schema, DTD for Documents (especially modularized DTDs that enable reuse of the schema).
• Development experience should span custom publishing, search-based applications, content analytics, content enrichment, and metadata catalogs.
• Good capability in :
  • Document analysis
  • Understanding nuances and differences across various content sets.
  • Learning new content domains (example: will be required to learn the intricacies of the legal language)
  • Modeling and creation of Document Tree
  • Understanding and discovering vocabulary and then implementing that vocabulary
  • Planning and adopting XML for publishing content.
• Ready to contribute both as team as well as individual with hands-on technical expertise in these areas.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience in working with very senior and hands-on client technical experts.
• Experience in working in an agile, unstructured, high-velocity development environment (in a little or no documentation environment).
• Experience with developing new products for large-scale enterprise-wide implementation. 

Desired Skills :

• Experience in building content solutions for legal, legislative and regulatory applications.
• Experience in working with legal content (case laws, statutes, citations, and other legal content sets).
• Experience in XML-based content management systems including MarkLogic Server, Ixiasoft Server, eXist DB, XyEnterprise XPP, SharePoint Server, etc.
